Vintage Eterna kontiki date, 1959 large case

  
The Eterna Kontiki is a historically important watch model and is still produced by Eterna today, albeit very different looking. Of all the Eterna Kontikis, the most beautiful and rarest of them all would have to be what you see here, the First Execution. This was the first Kontiki ever released in 1958 and it features a beautiful glossy gilt dial with huge markers filled with lume for improved legibility. This example is in great condition and well loved.

The watch was recently serviced at one of the top horologists in NYC and is running perfectly. This Eterna Kontiki First Execution is in excellent condition. It is 100% original and is one of the nicest I have come across. The stainless steel case is in excellent condition with all bevels still sharp and all four lugs thick and even.

The crown is signed and this Kontiki comes with its original Eterna Gay Freres bracelet. The bracelet is stamped'4 66' indicating that while it is a correct bracelet, it is not period correct.
