Vintage 1930s Massive Mexico Mexican Sterling Silver Large Overlay Art Cuff Bracelet 925. Simply amazing Silver Smith work here! Early Mexican craftsmanship with overlay sterling silver design set with a cabochon of black onyx. With a loupe one can see the detail workmanship especially in the area where the stone is set. This large impressive bracelet is without flaw or any damage. There are beads of silver at the directionals north south east and west around the black onyx. The tribal almost Celtic design appears to be a pre-Colombian motif. The center is 4 cm wide and tapers at ends to 2.2cm. This bracelet was created from 1mm sheet silver and the overlay applied perfectly. It is hallmarked in two places Mexico silver and may be the workmanship of Fred Davis.
Inside dimensions are 7 3/8" with the opening and It will fit a wrist of 7 1/4' to 7 1/2" or slightly larger. The gap is 1 1/2 wide. The bracelet weighs 47.6 grams.
