This is Soviet LARGE military wristwatch chronograph SLAVA made by 2nd Moscow Watch Factory in 4th quarter of 1957. It is very rare chronograph designed for Soviet Army officers.

Such type of watches was able for sale in special officer's shops. Only officers of Soviet Army were able to own this rare timepiece!

A chronograph is a watch with a function of a stopwatch. So that this certain chronograph has got a recorder for 30 minutes as a stopwatch.

Central thin hand is a stopwatch second hand and a small right dial is a minutes recorder of the stopwatch. A left small dial is a seconds dial of thetimepiece. The button starts, stops the stopwatch function and resets two chronograph's hands to zero position.

The movement is mechanical and hand-winding. It comes with a new hand-made leather strap.

The strap is made of genuine leather specially for this watch. It will allow to wear the watch even at extra large wrist. This is handmade leather wristband with a metal buckle.

The leather is genuine and very thick that means the strap will serve you very long! The watch is in perfectly working order. It is used as seen on the images below but runs well and keeps time accurately as it has been serviced (cleaned, lubricated and calibrated) by a professional watchmaker. Look at the photo The crystal is new, made of natural glass. Dial diameter - 38 mm.
