Large vintage sterling silver marcasite Pheonix bird brooch. This lovely vintage piece is in very good condition. The brooch is marked to the back' Sterling' for sterling silver. The brooch is in the form of a bird with wings outstretched and set with many sparkling marcasite stones. I have called it a Pheonix as it appears so regal. There is a long well secured pin and roll over locking clasp to the back. It is well made and beautifully detailed.

It is a genuine vintage piece and would date to around 1950. There is no damage to the brooch and no repairs. There are no stones missing and no damaged stones.
