The Baume & Mercier company has a long tradition in watchmaking and became best known for their chronograph pieces. Here's a wonderful example manufactured more than 60 years ago, in full working order, ready to be used. The round steel case was the largest available size at the time, measuring 38 mm wide without the crown, it really looks wonderful on the wrist. Flat pushers to the side: use the upper one to activate the chronograph and the lower one to stop and reset. Nice bold black dial with golden Arabic numerals, golden hands and two subsidiary dials.
