18" x 4" x 1/4. These Engelhard silver bars were referred to as feed bars, primarily produced for industrial applications. These Engelhard silver bars were made in long sheets and cut to fit a customer order.

This resulted in highly individualized silver bars. These bars are estimated to be from the mid-1980s, during the peak of Engelhards production, for photo processing and technology. The obverse and reverse of the bars are intentionally left blank with a smooth surface and precisely cut edges. The obverse displays the name Engelhard as the sole inscription.
